Meet Yammie

SRP Registered Psychologist, Approved Supervisor

Master of Psychology (Clinical)
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (First Class Honours)

Psychology is a natural and fulfilling career for me. Perceptive and sensitive, I have always enjoyed asking questions and listening deeply to the stories that emerge. I am also a curious person who loves working out jigsaw puzzles. I use these strengths to help you put the pieces of your experiences together in ways that help you gain deeper self-acceptance as well as lead satisfying and values-aligned lives.

My therapeutic style balances insight and change, meaning I help you make sense of your past experiences as well as empower you to use your strengths and newly acquired skills to improve your life now. I prioritise a collaborative and therapeutic relationship as the foundation of this work.

Understanding that every client’s experiences and preferences are unique, I adopt an eclectic approach with techniques from diverse evidence-based psychotherapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme), to name a few, to customise an appropriate treatment and change plan for you.

We all deserve a compassionate and safe space to learn to embrace ourselves and our lives, despite inner and outer imperfections, as well as build resilience and thrive.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is more than a space for discussing cases—it is an opportunity to cultivate reflective practice, deepen clinical thinking, and grow as both a psychologist and a person. I believe that meaningful supervision is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and psychological safety, where supervisees feel supported to explore uncertainty, challenge assumptions, and build on their strengths.

Drawing on over 15 years of clinical experience across healthcare, community, and academic settings, I tailor supervision to each supervisee's stage of development, learning goals, and clinical context. My aim is to foster not only clinical competence and ethical practice, but also professional confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of identity as a reflective practitioner.

Psychology Trainees

I provide clinical supervision for postgraduate clinical psychology trainees, supporting them as they develop the knowledge, skills, and professional identity required for competent and ethical practice.

Drawing on my experience as a clinical supervisor for trainees at the SUSS and JCUS, I offer a collaborative and reflective learning environment where trainees can strengthen case formulation, intervention planning, ethical decision-making, and the thoughtful use of self in therapy.

My aim is to help trainees build confidence while cultivating the curiosity, critical thinking, and reflective practice that underpin lifelong professional growth.

Registered Psychologists

Whether you are newly registered or an experienced clinician, clinical supervision provides an opportunity to deepen clinical thinking, refine case conceptualisation, and navigate complex presentations with greater confidence. It offers a dedicated space for reflective practice, ethical consultation, and ongoing professional development—supporting you to strengthen your therapeutic skills, make thoughtful clinical decisions, and sustain your wellbeing as a practitioner.

Together, we explore not only the work with your clients, but also your growth as a psychologist, fostering competence, confidence, and authenticity throughout your professional journey.

Team & Organisation

I partner with healthcare providers, schools, and community agencies to deliver individual and group supervision that supports both clinician development and organisational excellence.

Through reflective case discussions, ethical consultation, and collaborative learning, supervision strengthens clinical competence, encourages thoughtful practice, and provides a psychologically safe space for teams to learn from one another.

Supervision also contributes to staff wellbeing, resilience, and a culture of continuous professional growth.
